Every time you set an alarm on the iPhone, you create an alarm for the specified time and turn it on.
Then,
after the alarm rings and you shut it off, that alarm remains in your
Clock app. If you ever need an alarm at that time of day again, it’ll be
there.
Over
time, though, the list of old alarms grows longer and longer. You can
delete them one at a time, but that becomes ridiculously inefficient.
Since setting a new
alarm is as easy as telling Siri, “Set my alarm for 7:30am” (or
whatever), there’s no reason for you to keep dozens of defunct alarms
sitting around.
Fortunately, there’s a completely undocumented trick for deleting all of those defunct alarms in one fell swoop.
Just tell Siri, “Delete all my alarms,” of course!
