How to Create Events and Send Invites with the Calendar App on iPhone by iPhoneLife

Getting people together for an event is easier than ever with today's technology, but sometimes it's easy to get lost in a sea of text messages between you and a group of others. To get everyone on the same page about an event you're planning, why not create an event and invite your guests in a more unified manner? Here’s how to create events and send invites with your iPhone's Calendar app.
To do this:
·         Open the Calendar app and navigate to the date on which you would like to create an event.
·         Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner. There, you’ll be able to name your event, as well as add a location if you'd like.

·         Then you can designate start and end times for your event, as well as add any notes for your invitees to see. You can also choose which of your Calendars the event will go in.
·         (If you can't see the Invitees tab, go to Settings, iCloud, and make sure Calendar is turned on. If you're still not seeing the Invitees tab, make sure you’re putting the event in one of your iCloud calendars.)
·         Tapping the Invitees tab will allow you to choose individuals from your contacts to invite, provided you have their email address in their contact card. The Invitees tab will then be updated to show how many people you've invited.

·         Once you're finished, tap Add.

The event will then be added to your Calendar. Tapping the event will show you all the relevant information you inputted in the previous steps, responses from your invitees, and a map if you provided a location for your event.
