10:00 a.m. - Event begins and Tim Cook give the keynote. He touched on his ongoing battle with the FBI and said that Apple will not give up in its fight for people's privacy.10:05 a.m. - Lisa Jackson speaks about how Apple is protecting the environment. Two years ago, Apple's goal was to use 100% renewable energy sources. So how is it doing? Currently 93% of its facilities worldwide are running on renewable energy alone. Apple also now uses paper packaging to help conservation.
Next, we see a video about Liam, the robot that is a key component in Apple's recycling and reusing program. What Liam does is takes apart iPhones and separates parts to be recycled and used for other projects. Visit Apple.com/recycling for more about the Apple Renew program.
10:15 a.m. - The second initiative discussed is Apple's progress with its health programs. Apple talked about how its Research Kit has opened a new world of possibilities when it comes to improving medical research.
Based on the success of Research Kit, Apple has introducing CareKit (available in April), a new app for Parkinson's patients so they can have access to data their physicians can use to help combat the disease. Apple believes the possibilities here are limitless. The app will be open source, which means anyone can develop similar apps.
Apple Watch
10:25 a.m. - Apple Watch time! It's the top selling smartwatch in the world, and today it's getting new bands made out of new material. The new woven nylon band comes in a variety of different colors, as well as new sport and leather bands that Apple thinks its customers will love.Apple Watch also gets a lower price, starting at $299.
Apple TV
10:27 - Apple TV time! There have been tons of updates here, including the ability to watch two March Madness games at the same time, order food through GrubHub, and Tim Cook says even much more is coming.Siri is also a vital part of Apple TV, and Apple has added more functionality to her abilities. Tim Cook also noted that new features allow you to organize your home screen the way you want it. There are also folders now to help you keep everything in its place. The free update is available today.
iPhone SE
10:31 - iPhone time! The smaller iPhone rumors were true. Last year, Apple sold 30 million 4-inch iPhones in 2015. So naturally, the next "big" iPhone is being called the iPhone SE, "the most powerful 4-inch phone ever. "The iPhone SE has an aluminum design, with a rose gold finish. It has an Apple A9 chip - the same processing power of the iPhone 6s. You can also use Siri hands-free with the SE and it also has better battery performance than the iPhone 5s.
The SE has a 12-megapixel camera with true tone flash, and also has an improved front-facing camera with a "flash" from the phone's screen, so you can take better selfies. It has TouchID and Apple Pay too.
The iPhone SE will start at $399 for a 16GB, and $499 the 64GB. You can order an iPhone SE now, and they will be available March 31st.
iOS 9.3
10:40 - iOS 9.3 is here! What's new?Night Shift. It's an app that changes the colors on your phone based on the time. So this app knows when the sun is setting and will reduce the blue light inside in your gadget, so you can sleep better at night.
The Notes app is now password protected. The Health app, News, Education and CarPlay also got updates, with significant improvements in Apple Music, Maps and more.

iPad Pro
10:45 - iPad time! The new iPad Pro has a 9.7 inch display and weighs less than a pound and is being billed as "the ultimate PC replacement."It has a Pro display, which is 40% less reflective, the lowest of any tablet, and it's also 25% brighter than its predecessor, making it the brightest tablet on the market too. "It's the best display we've ever built for an iPad" that also includes True Tone Display, which "measures the color temperature of ambient light and adjusts the display to match." This means your display adjusts itself to your surroundings.
The new iPads also have "Hey Siri" and has a detachable keyboard, and supports the Apple Pencil. It has an advanced camera with 12 megapixels, true tone flash, retina flash, and you can shoot 4k video with it. It comes in four colors, including rose gold and a variety of cases.
The 32 GB iPad Pro starts at $599, $749 for 128 GB and never before available, a 256 GB model starts at $899. You can place your order starting March 24 and will ship out March 31st.
