How to add shortcuts to your Windows 10 Start menu By Will Argeros

If you don’t want to mess around with tiles in the Windows 10 Start menu, you can easily go back to shortcuts. By following these steps, you'll feel just like you're using earlier versions of Windows again.
  1. Open the Start menu
  2. Click "settings"
  3. Click "personalization"
  4. Click "Start"
  5. Click "Choose which folders appear on Start"
  6. Toggle the folders you want to see
Now when you open your start menu, your shortcuts are right where you want them!
